GORANSON FARM CSA PROGRAM
For 19 years the farm has offered a unique, mutually beneficial arrangement between farmer and community called Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).  In exchange for financial support in the spring from "shareholders," we commit to providing healthy, locally-grown food though the growing season.

Traditional CSA programs include regular pick-up of a box of produce and often feature whatever the farm has in abundance.  Goranson Farm has a very unique CSA model that affords you the flexibility to pick out what you want and how much you want, when and where it's convenient for you.

cornstalksWhen you purchase a farm share at the beginning of the season, you are essentially establishing a debit account with the farm -- you choose how to use it up until it's gone!

Receive the freshest vegetables, seedling starts, flowers, our own sweet maple syrup, and our farm-raised meats.

root vegFor 16 successful years we have offered a separate Winter Share Option.   From November through March, winter storage vegetables (potatoes, beets, carrots, leeks, garlic, onions, parsnips, celeriac, herbs, squash, cabbage, rutabagas and turnips) and fall greens are packed for pick-up once a month, either at the farm or at a location in Boothbay.  We feature different potato and squash varieties each month.  Also included each month are recipes, storage tips, and a letter of farm activity.

More information about our CSA program is given with the sign-up form. To learn more about CSA and other farming practices, see our resource page.

OUR FARM STAND

farmstand in summerSelect from a variety of fresh, in-season organic produce, berries and other fruit, fresh and dried flower bouquets and other herbs. While at the farmstand you can also include locally-produced products as part of your share.  These products include cheeses, honey, baked goods, fresh eggs, dried beans, preserves, and our farm-raided chickens and pigs.  Look for cuts of locally-produced beef and pork, and chicken pies in our freezer.  Pick-your-own organic strawberries are available in June.

Our farmstand in Dresden is open seven days a week from mid-May through October, and weekend days in November.
